Steve Thompson is no stranger to Southern Gospel music. He has been a fan since he was 13 years old after hearing The LeFevres in the church he attended in Virginia. Steve began singing S.G. music in 2009 with Crossing Jordan and most recently managed and sang for Southern Harmony. He grew up in Falls Church, Virginia but moved to Kinston with his family in 1984. Steve has worked in the Public Safety field for over 33 years and is currently a Probation/Parole Officer for the State of NC. Steve is also a certified Volunteer Firefighter. Steve has one son; Nick, one daughter; Amber, and one granddaughter; Karson. Emory is like a granddaughter to Steve, and she sometimes attends S.G. concerts with him as she loves “Jesus music.” Steve is a member of Jackson Heights FWB Church in Kinston. Steve has a heartfelt desire to see souls saved and lives changed by spreading the Gospel through music.
